Description

Scope of Work/Overview:
Work of this project involves repairs to the exterior limestone cladding system and granite base courses of the Victory Building along its North, South and West elevations. There are multiple locations along each elevation that require repair.
Repair types include but are not limited to:

Dutchman repairs to sections of damaged stone
Replacement of exterior mullion stones and corroded steel plates
Mortar patch repairs
Repointing of mortar beds
Removal and replacement of dried caulking
Repairs to cracks to prevent further water infiltration
Removal and replacement of damaged flashing
Removal of corrosion from exterior hardware and applying galvanizing paint
Gentle cleaning/ washing of stone surfaces to remove dirt, organics and staining
Replacement of damaged section of granite base course
Further review of locations noted in tender drawings that may have hidden damage
