Description

THIS PROCUREMENT HAS SECURITY REQUIREMENTS

Scope of Work/Overview:
- Evaluate the heating and cooling requirements of rooms 132 & 133, temporary exhibit and exhibit rooms respectively; supply and install a dual zone ductless split heat pump system for these rooms, i.e. 132 and 133, of adequate capacity.
- New system to be intergraded into existing BAS.
- The fume hoods in rooms 132 & 145 are utilized in exhausting air when working with exhibits (room 132), and, when cleaning weapons (room 145). Both fume hoods are not connected to the facility control system. Evaluate the exhaust requirements of both processes; size and operating conditions of the existing; accordingly provide an adequate design that would re-use or replace the existing fume hood(s), adjust location of the hoods to be compliant with their intended purpose, coordinate hoods' operation with the existing ventilation system in the corresponding rooms; and connect their operation to the building BAS system for controlling and monitoring.
Design and installation of the HVAC equipment and the fume hoods shall be compliant with PMM standards, where applicable, NBC (latest version) and applicable codes and standards.

Confirmation of intent to attend the optional site visit must be sent by email a list of attendees to Shelley.Demont@bgis.com no later than 2:00 PM AST/ADT, on the business day prior to the Optional Site Visit.
A maximum of one representative of each Bidder, or its authorized representative, is permitted to attend the OPTIONAL site visit. Site visits will be conducted in small groups.
Individuals without the appropriate PPE will not be permitted to access the site. COVID-19 Site Specific Safety Plans and social distancing must be adhered to. Masks must be worn for the duration of the site visit.
