GOC3690962 To provide an accessible environment from the street and parking to the building entrance(s) and building amenities as requested by the Lean Foward Initiative, certain elements of the building and the immediate environment must conform to items #2, #6, #7, #11 #13, #14, #17 and #18 of the 22 items identified by PSPC (see list provided) in order to comply with the latest National Building Code and the latest CSA B651 standard. As part of this project, the consultant shall review all existing exterior signage, within the barrier-free travel path, and correct any deficiencies, including (but not limited to): missing signs, misplaced signs, location and distances, color, materials and lighting, everything requested for ramps, for stairs, for entry doors, on paving, walls and ceilings, covering all requirements related to tactile directional or attention indicators, contrasting paint fixed items (or surface areas in contrasting colours) and markings on glass walls, and intercoms at mains entrance of the building including the Sussex Entrance. The consultant shall review all existing elevators and correct any deficiencies related including (but not limited to): missing operating devices or keypad, misplaced operating or keypad, location, clear area to use it, color and lighting contrast and signage . The consultant shall include all signage requirements at reception and security desk (including but not limited to) map of key amenities to follow FIP standards and CSA requirements, to provide accessible access and amenities understood and used by all people.
