GOC582363, 64 & 67-CS-BAG-REPOST - Consultant - SDS - Energy Audit (3 Sites)

Scope of Work/Overview:
Perform an analysis of the energy efficiency of building systems and components as identified in
the PWGSC National Call Letter Federal Sustainable Development Strategies (FSDS). The Energy
Manager involvement is required to ensure consistency of delivery and audit is completed in the
format approved by PWGSC.
The audit will create a "Reference Point" as a basis for future sustainable development.
Implementation of cost saving initiatives and projects identified in the audit will ensure future
energy efficiency and sustainability for the facility.
The consultant will be responsible for fully investigating and capturing all available incentive,
subsidy and rebate programs from utility companies, and federal and provincial governments. The
consultant will also be responsible for filling out all required documents. The consultant must
meet all conditions and requirements pertaining to any incentive, subsidy and rebate requests. In
this absence, the consultant will be responsible for subcontracting its obligations with a
qualified firm. Furthermore, the hired consultant will be responsible for calculating the
anticipated energy savings for each of the proposed options and for verifying the actual energy
consumption (Payback) and the greenhouse gases (GHG) reduction realized by the project. The
Consultant should conform with the SOWs attached.
The required discipline is mechanical and electrical and or energy engineering; The Consultant
should have at least Five (5) years experience in energy audits in commercial/office buildings,
energy calculations, estimations, energy reporting, and should be very familiar with the saveonenergy program.
