Scope of Work/Overview:
GOC2777190- The objective of this washrooms accessibility implementation and upgrades project is to complete all necessary work to bring washrooms and showers rooms it up to meet the latest National Building Code and the latest CSA B651 standard The consultant shall, using mechanical, electrical and infrastructure engineering services when required, ensure that all washrooms and showers room plumbing components and fixtures (including the penthouse) such as, but not limited to, floor drains, drains lines, length of piping ,every element, toilette, urinal, grab bar, partitions, all equipment and all accessories misplaced or missing to meet latest standards. Particular attention will be paid to the selection of plumbing fixtures (touchless option wherever possible) that meet higher efficiency standards, low flow technology and anti-microbial components and meet, at a minimum, WaterSense and LEED V4 Interior Design & Construction (IDC) prerequisite flows rates.

The consultant shall, using mechanical, electrical and infrastructure engineering services when required, ensure that all washrooms and showers room plumbing components and fixtures (including the penthouse) such as, but not limited to, floor drains, drains lines, drains, length of piping , fans, every element, toilette, urinal, grab bars, partitions, all equipment and all accessories misplaced or missing to meet latest standards. Particular attention will be paid to the selection of plumbing fixtures (touchless option wherever possible) that meet higher efficiency standards, low flow technology and anti-microbial components and meet, at a minimum, WaterSense and LEED V4 Interior Design & Construction (IDC) prerequisite flows rates. All elements replaced shall be exhausted as per ASHRAE 62 standard and NBC if required. The consultant should correctly identify on his design drawings the new drains, drainage lines and groove line connections to be installed and ensure that all relevant areas are accessible. This includes replacing the ceramic floor tiles in all the washrooms (male and female) as well as the janitor's closets on all floors with new tiles. Any tiles that contribute to the heritage values of the building are to be assessed and an appropriate conservation treatment is to be applied on a case by case basis
