Description

The purpose of this project is to install a new backflow preventer at the water entry level room located in the basement to meet the City by Law requirements as per the site assessment and City notification. Backflow valves are to be installed as per code requirements and tested upon completion of installation. A certificate indicating the test results is to be supplied to BGIS. The project will require a City permit and installation of the valves to comply with Ottawa Water By-Law 2018-167, no later than June 2021 and will need to be scheduled for outside of business hours in order to minimize disruption to tenant operations
