Scope of Work/Overview:

1. 1. 1. 17BWork of this Contract comprises removal of existing heating piping and associated wall fins, convectors and cabinet unit heaters and installation of new heating systems . The contractor shall supply and install all heating systems and accessories such as associated wall fins, convectors, cabinet unit heaters, piping, valves, controls and connection to building automation system (BAS), etc..
      2. A brief description of scope of work is as follows:
         1. 59BDemolition and removal of existing wall fins, convectors and cabinet unit heaters, piping, piping supports, power wiring, control wiring and conduits.
         2. 63BProvision of installation of wall fins, convectors and cabinet unit heaters, heating piping, piping supports, valves.
         3. Provision of electric tracing.
         4. 65BAssociated cutting, patching and painting.
         5. Associated piping enclosures.
         6. 67BInterfacing and integration of new wall fins, convectors and cabinet unit heaters with existing building automation system.
         7. 68BProvision of piping and equipment identification.
         8. 69BEquipment start-up by factory trained personnel of the manufacturer(s) c/w reports.
         9. 70BTesting, commissioning, adjusting and water balancing.
         10. Flushing, cleaning and chemical treatment of heating system.
         11. 71BCompletion of CMMS forms.
         12. 72BAssociated electrical and controls work.
         13. 73BInclude relocation of all existing mechanical, plumbing, electrical services, hangers, supports as necessary to allow for installation of proposed work as identified in drawings and specifications.
         14. Provision of closeout documents including operating and maintenance manuals.
         15. 74BTraining of staff and demonstration of operations.
         16. Include all cost associated with expediting of shop drawings for wall fins, convectors and cabinet unit heaters. All shop drawings shall be submitted as one package. All shop drawings shall be submitted within one week of the award of the project. Allow for one meeting at the consultant’s office to review all the shop drawings.
