Description

The intent of the project is to upgrade the existing cooling towers (2) catwalks (2) to enhance the safety of the workers when proceeding to maintenance. New stairs and 1 single catwalk to access and maintain both cooling towers would allow a safer working environment as well as a better operational efficiency.

Event Note

Optional site visit to be held on the date and times specified within the item 2.6.15. Attendees will meet the BGIS Representative at the LTDLC, 15 Eddy, Gatineau, Québec, Room 143 commissionaires desk. Bidders are advised that they must preregister via email to (Chady.Moussa@bgis.com) by (March 18, 2021) to be authorized to access the site. Failure to register may result in the Bidder’s Representative being refused access to the site. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required such as: safety shoes/boots, safety vests, hard hats, safety glasses, etc. Individuals without the appropriate PPE will not be permitted to access the site.
COVID-19 Site Specific Safety Plans and social distancing must be adhered. Facial coverings must be worm by all individuals where social distancing cannot be maintained. All individuals are to follow Federal and Provincial guidelines as they relate to Covid 19
preventative measures.

Bidders are advised that they MUST pre-register via email to Chady.Moussa@bgis.com before March 18, 2021 2:00 pm EST to be authorized to access the site.

Failure to pre-register will result in the Bidders Representative being refused access to the site.

BGIS will contact all Bidders that register and confirm the site visit time in the case when there are multiple site visit times.

A maximum of one representative of each Bidder, or its authorized representative, are permitted to attend the site visit.
