GOC754680-CT-BAG - Contractor-Install Occupancy sensors & Replace Lights

Scope of Work/Overview:
Replace luminaires with existing T8 fluorescent compact fluorescent and incandescent lamps. The luminaires will be replaced with LED type. New LED lamps or fixtures shall be DLC approved in order to qualify for incentive. The existing wiring will be re-used. Consideration will be taken to re-lamp the existing
luminaires in the front vestibule and lobby, in lieu of new LED luminaire to keep the same heritage appearance. Occupancy sensors shall be mounted on walls to mitigate the impact on heritage Character Entrance Hall and associated Galleries. New wiring shall be provided.
Open offices using modular furniture and every room (training rooms, board rooms, janitor room, small mechanical room, etc.) will have an occupancy sensor complete with manual wall switch to ensure lights in these areas would power off after a set time. The new occupancy sensors would be mounted in the ceiling of the associated room. Occupancy sensor will meet ASHRAE 90.1. Include moving and repositioning of furniture or cubicles impacted by installation. Ensure before & after site photos are taken and documented for review when required. Area of work should be free of dust and debris prior to leaving the site for the night.
Testing of replacement bulbs should be undertaken prior to full replacement to ensure compatibility with
current ballasts and to ensure light intensity and colour is suitable for office application.
Exit lights to be replaced and installed. Refer to and ensure compliance with Tender plans & specifications.
Contractor to conduct site survey and site verification prior to submitting shop drawings and ordering materials.
All disruptive work can only be done after hours or on weekends including work conducted at tenants’ spaces.All work must to be completed by May 30, 2021 pending confirmation of material delivery.
