The intent of this project to retrofit all interior and exterior lighting to LED. Exact count to be confirmed by the consultant, most of the lighting in tenant spaces has already been retrofitted as part of a fit-up project. Investigate different control strategies including but not limited to: daylight harvesting (photocells for dimming), occupancy sensors, addressable fixtures, etc. Investigate different options for replacement (bulb replacement, LED retrofit kit, fixture replacement, etc.). Consider different options for controls (manual control, dimmable control, localized automatic control, microprocessor lighting control, networked control, or any combination of the four); the designer must provide descriptions and a rationale for the chosen scheme. Lighting control systems must function on an open protocol to avoid vendor lock-in, and must be able to integrate with the building automation, and/or security systems. Refer to TECHNICAL REFERENCE FOR OFFICE BUILDING DESIGN document by PSPC for illuminance levels, controls strategies, etc. Lighting simulation with average illuminance levels is preferred for design purposes. Investigate potential incentives with utility supplier or other organizations.
