GOC3303289-CS - IMPLEMENTATION ACCESSIBILITY AUDIT

An accessibility Audit was carried out by Schoeler and Heaton Architects in November 2019 (GOC1831285) based on CAN/CSA-B651-18. The audit provides detailed evaluation of elements of the building, deficiencies and finally, provides recommendations to achieve compliance with CAN/CSA-B651-18. Several elements of the building need to be revised to achieve compliancy, such as the route of travel in parking lot, exterior ramp and stairs, entrance, elevators (visible and audible signals), interior stairs and ramps, accessible route / interior doors, washrooms (grab bars, lavatories, actuators, accessories), stairwells (handrails, detectable warning surfaces) and kitchenette (counter space, door width) and interior signage and visual alarms.
