GOC2553221-CT-2 - Whitton Hall Fit Up- Acoustic Remediation (Phase 2)

Work of this Contract comprises the acoustical remediation works of two office areas, located on the terrace level and the second level at the John G. Diefenbaker Building, 111 Sussex Drive, Ottawa, Ontario; and further identified as Whitton Hall Acoustic Remediation (Phase 2).
• Provide new interior plenum barriers for acoustic upgrades within ceiling spaces.
• Cut portions of acoustical ceiling tiles and grid extending above wall partitions.
• Provide blocking to fill gap between partition wall and plenum barrier above.
• Provide acoustical seal at visible openings around all pipe, duct and conduit penetrations.
• Provision of electronic sound masking system.
• Provision of new sound absorption panels to two existing atria.
• New acoustical drop-down door bottom.
• New prefinished window mullion.
• Patch and make good wall and paint finish to original appearance at fastener locations.
