Description

Scope of Work/Overview:
The scope of work consists of the installation of a low loss header to the heating water loop. During multiple boiler operation, the boilers will trip the boiler high limit and consequently shutdown the boiler(s). The cause was determined to be the excess heated primary flow that passes through the boiler system bypass and mixes with the unheated primary flow causing the 2nd boiler in operation to receive higher temperature inlet water resulting in boiler shutdown. The installation of a low loss header allows for a bypass to the existing boiler system as a means of preventing future boiler failures.
Work is located at the Health & Welfare Building, located at 2301 Midland Ave., Toronto ON.

Event Note

A maximum of one representative of each Bidder, or its authorized representative, are permitted to attend the OPTIONAL site visit. Attendees will meet the BGIS Representative at the Site. Site visits will be conducted in small groups. Bidders are advised that they must preregister via email to Rajesh.Gupta@bgis.com by July 15, 2020 before 2PM to be authorized to access the site. Failure to register may result in the Bidder’s Representative being refused access to the site. BGIS will contact all Bidders that register and confirm the site visit time in the case when there are multiple site visit times. Bidders are only required to attend one scheduled site visit to be eligible to bid.
Bidders will be notified of any changes to the date of the site visit by Addenda.

COVID-19 Site Specific Safety Plans and social distancing must be adhered to. Masks must be worn for the duration of the site visit.
