Description

This Project aims to increase exit capacity at PdP IV in support of space densification resulting from GC Workplace fit-up of administrative spaces. The tenant is in the process of updating floors within PdP IV with GC Workplace standards. For these fit-ups to occur, the exit capacity of this building must be increased so that all occupants can exit the building safely and conform to all fire and safety regulations as stipulated in the National Building Code (NBCC) and other regulatory codes. PSPC has selected this project as a pilot project for the LCA^2 Initiative (Low Carbon Asset through Life Cycle Assessment). In other terms, the use of construction materials with a lower carbon footprint than conventional materials (based on the Life Cycle Analysis, LCA, Approach.

Event Note

Proponents are advised that there will be an Optional site visit to be held on the date specified within the item 1.5 of the RFP. Attendees will meet the BGIS Project Manager at the 140 Promenade du Portage, Gatineau, Quebec at the commissionaire desk

Proponents will be notified by Addenda of any changes to the date of the site visit.

All individuals attending the site visit must bring their own Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): safety shoes/boots, safety vests, hard hats, safety glasses. Individuals without the appropriate PPE will not be permitted to access the site.

Proponents are expected to carefully examine the site, fully inform themselves of the existing conditions and limitations and include in their fee proposal all costs required to meet the terms of the Contract.
