BGIS is looking for a scalable Water Management Solution for use in our global portfolio of over 35,000 buildings. Specifically, we are looking for a partner to provide a solution that provides visibility, real-time analytics, and the ability to remotely monitor and control water systems.
The intent of this RFI is for BGIS to gain a thorough understanding of the offerings for water management solutions in the current market.
BGIS develops strategic partnerships with leading solutions providers within various market segments. The results of this RFI will help to identify future strategic partners in the water management market.
The outcome of implementation for BGIS and our clients will be a scalable and easily integrated water management system that provides remote online visibility of the facility and control over defined parameters. The solution should include a central dashboard to identify site-specific information at a portfolio, building, and system level. The solution will be used by BGIS to identify operational issues and water conservation opportunities, as well as to provide the ability to remotely triage in the event of a leak or flooding.
Within the real estate portfolio that BGIS manages exists a large distributed retail base. One of the goals of this RFI is to determine the best respondents for each of our specific clients, which includes a range of building sizes and uses (ex. small commercial retail, large critical facilities).
The expected benefits of this program will include, but not be limited to the following success metrics:
• Reduction of water consumption / cost
• Reduction in downtime / cost related to flooding
• Minimize disruption to the customer / employee
• More immediate response for leak detection and repair
• Greater insight into water consumption
• Ability to monitor water quality
• Ability to remotely control water shut-off valve
