Statement of Work/Overview:

GENERAL SCOPE:

Chimney repairs – Stabilize the existing chimney in place while removing the threat of falling bricks by installing 2 continuous full vertical steel plates 4-6” wide on both sides of the chimney with tie rods bolted or welded on both sides; apply caulking at all visible cracks.

Failed Sealants - Re-caulk in the areas where the failed sealant exists.

Spalled and Cracked Brick - Knock off spalled portions if they are in locations that could be a safety issue (e.g., spalled brick located 10 feet above finished grade which could cause serious injury if it falls); use urethane based caulking to seal cracks in brickwork and apply an elastomeric siliconized coating, similar to Dow Corning “All Guard” over the location(s).

Concrete Repairs - Only make minor concrete repairs at the accessibility ramp and no UV-rated elastomeric coating.

Guardrail - Just repair the guardrail at the rear window well, install missing or re-weld broken pickets and perform minor concreate repairs.
