Scope of Work:
Contractor needed to paint the interior areas below:
1. Basement Freight Elevator Lobby (Terrazzo Floor Area only)
Prep all surfaces by patching holes, sand and prime. Paint walls, ceiling, door and frame entering stair lobby (Dark Brown), Frame leaving area to the west (Dark Brown) and Frame at garbage room (Dark Brown).
2. Stairwell B (South West)
Prep all surfaces by patching holes, remove loose paint, sand and prime. Paint walls, ceilings, handrails, stair riser’s doors and frames, heating rad covers. Paint washroom lobby on first floor including doors and frames both sides.
Other notes:
- Use low VOC paint.
- All colours to match existing except where indicated in item 1.
- Cost to include all labour and materials.
- Contractors to have security clearance of Reliability status and be compliant in Complyworks.
Timeline:
Work must be performed after 5 PM Monday to Friday and be completed by 6 AM or on weekend. Would like work completed by 16th of August.
Site Visit:
- The site visit is RECOMMENDED to review the areas in the scope of work. Please meet Rick Duncum at 10:00 AM at front entrance (along 11 Station St) in the lobby. Please use the street parking on 11 Station St or other street parking. Note: please do not park in the parking lot as these spots are reserved for tenant paid parking. Be sure to refer to the Pre-bidding events section in MERX for details.
Other Required Information:
- All contractors and subcontractors are to have security clearance of Reliability status and be compliant in Complyworks.
- Contractor must have an approved Health and Safety Work Permit (HS 289 01) in order to proceed with work. Upon award, the attached Health and Safety document (HS 289 01 Work Permit) which must be completed in full and submitted to David Valente at David.Valente@bgis.com for approval.
- Contractor is to abide by all BGIS Health & Safety policies and procedures.
- Contractor is to maintain a clean and safe working environment throughout the duration of the project and all garbage is to be removed from site by the contractor.
- The contractor is to sign in and out of the contractor logbook each day.
