GOC1831338 - IMPLEMENTATION ACCESSIBILITY AUDIT - PANL - An accessibility Audit was carried out by Schoeler and Heaton Architects on July of 2018 (GOC990358) and based on the audit, multiple elements of the building need to be revised to achieve compliance with CAN/CSA-B651. The audit provides detailed evaluation of elements of the building against the technical requirements of CAN/CSA-B651 as well as, deficiencies and summary of elements of the building that do not comply with CAN/CSAB651 and finally, provides recommendations of list of elements that need to be revised to achieve compliance with CAN/CSA-B651, and order of magnitude costing. Deficiencies have been outlined in the exterior, interior, entrance areas, washrooms and kitchenette areas along with other areas in the audit. The consultant shall carry out detailed site investigation in conjunction with a detailed review of the audit and implement the recommendation outlined in the audit in its entirety. As part of the implementation, the consultant will determine if there is a possibility of providing gender neutral signage to the already “mixed” washrooms, possibly one per floor. Consultant will prepare an IAR prior to the design with options and costs.
