BGIS has an opportunity for you to bid on the LED Light Upgrade project at the St. Croix Border crossing.
Below is a list of exterior lights that are required to be upgraded like for like to LEDs.
9 each – 175 watt Metal Halide Canopy lights
17 each – T8 vapor proof lights
2 each – 175 watt Metal Halide wall packs
Installing Additional lighting (2 wall pack) may be necessary to address a dark spot on back side of secondary, near the generator/dumpster. If req'd please provide a price sperate from the rest to supply and install.
Light levels must meet CBSA lighting level requirements (as provided - in seperate attachment) and National Energy Code of Canada. Testing once installed must be completed to ensure compliance. Special consideration must be made to ensure private dwelling on opposite side of the export lanes is not negatively affected by increased light level. Consideration must also be given to CCTV light sensitivity/placement.
Work can be done during regular hours.
All quotes must be in the following format:
“Scope of Work: Detailed description of labour and materials required to complete repair.
Labour: Service (e.g. Low Complexity GC, Electrical, Plumbing), the rate type (ie regular daytime hours) x hourly rate (as per the rates from RFSO) x number of hours to complete the job = extended total
Materials: Cost of Materials X % Mark-Up = extended total *Note: Materials <5K must not exceed 15% mark-up, Materials >5K must not exceed 10% mark-up”.
Clearances and work permit must be approved before WO will be dispatched and work can start.
PSPC – Reliability status required
If security is required, it will be the responsibility of the contractor.
Mandatory H&S documents such as but not limited to the Work Permit/JSP/LOTO/Hot Work, etc….
