PWG1646427-CT - ENTRANCE REPAIRS TO BUILDING NO. 5

Project scope will include a full review of the exterior hard and soft landscape components within the Building 5 East – West & South entrance loop from between the exterior of the front entry doors and out as far as Network Access Drive as well as the Building 5 East and West entrances. Components also being reviewed within this project scope will include the exterior lighting, and some accessibility requirements for the visually impaired. The canopy roof and glazing components are currently being addressed under the Major Capital Project team’s Carling Campus Project to renovate Building 5 in preparation for the new Tenant. The concrete columns of the canopy were assessed in the 2013 Structural review of Building 5 and were assessed as being sound and thus will not be included as part of this project scope. The Building 5 South entrance is anticipated to be the VIP entrance for the site but has not been utilized on a regular basis for the past several years.

All bidders must confirm site visit attendance no later than 5:00pm on Thursday April 11, 2019.

Security clearance number and expiration date must be provided for each person planning to attend and no more than 2 persons per company. Full PPE required including hard hat, safety boots, high visibility vest and safety glasses. Contractors to meet at the EllisDon Phase 2 Security Trailer, located in parking lot “M”, at 9:45 to allow time to register with security. Job showing will start at 10:00AM sharp.
